Some homeschoolers like to use a formal art program with their children. Others just wing it. And some, (like me, who can’t decide) have done a bit of both.
No matter what technique you use to homeschool Art, you’ll find that you probably need a wide assortment of art supplies. The supplies you need will depend on the types of projects you want to do with your child. For example, if you like to do traditional art, you’ll need an assortment of general art supplies. If you lean a little more heavily towards doing crafts, you’ll probably want to stock up on craft supplies. (If you’re like me and like to do everything, you get everything. 😉 )
Below are two lists of art supplies for you to use the next time you do your homeschool shopping. One covers general art supplies and the other includes craft items. Pick your favorites or get it all and watch your spouse cringe.
