I love classic stories.
Don’t you?
I especially love vintage children’s stories from the 1800’s or early 1900’s that have a moral to them. You know, like the old Raggedy Ann & Andy stories or Wizard of Oz series.
I LOVED reading those aloud to my children when they were little.
I also like the lesser-known stories from this time period because they still have that classic feel to them.
I found some vintage gems just like that recently and I thought it would be nice to share them with you in a weekly series.
They are little-known classic stories that typically have a moral to them.
You can use these as read aloud stories, incorporate them into your reading curriculum, or use them in your homeschool co-op.
They will be posted every Friday in 2015 with the exception of the Black Friday after Thanksgiving and the Friday that Christmas falls on this year.
