Shapes books for preschoolers can help your 4-year-old learn to identify common shapes such as circles, squares, triangles, rectangles and ovals.
Being able to identify these shapes is an important skill that he’ll need to prepare him for kindergarten-level work.
Shape recognition also leads to letter and number recognition because these characters are made up of shapes and lines.
