Can you or your kids answer that?
If you’re looking for some resources that will help your kids learn the states and capitals, I have some for you today.
Below are two lists of free resources that you can use in your homeschool. One list includes online interactive materials such as games and maps. The other has enough printables to make smoke come out of your printer. (Have a fire extinguisher ready!) Any of them should give you the answer to my question at the beginning of this post (unless, of course, you Google it).
States and Capitals Online Interactive Resources
ABCYa: Kids can play Penguins Hop game about states and capitals here.
Coolmath-Games: Play the Map Snap: United States online game here.
Fun Brain: Fun Brain has geography games covering the U.S. and other areas of the world.
Sheppard Software: This site has a ton of free online games at various levels of difficulty.
Maps of World: This has an interactive map of the U.S. plus a table listing state names, capitals, and more.
Vector Kids: This is a state capitals multiple choice game.
Arcademics: Kids can play Capital Penguin here.
I like 2 learn: Here’s an online matching game your kids can play.
Quia: Quia has an assortment of online flashcards, games, and word searches.
Your Child Learns: Owl and Mouse has interactive maps, online quizzes, printable maps, and more.
