These rock formations will give your young writers lots to write about.
1. The Rock Puzzle
You are climbing these rocks one afternoon when something unusual happens. When you step on one of the lower rocks, it goes down an inch and one of the taller rocks goes up. Finish this story.
2. Rock Home
Imagine you could build your own home on these rocks. How would you do it? Would you use some of the rocks as furniture? Describe what your house would look like and how you’d make use of the rocks.
3. Folktale
This place is called Giant’s Causeway. Make up your own folktale about how it got its name.
4. Make It Yours
Come up with your own piece of writing for this picture.
